Hindu temples are the birthplace of the Vedas and Upanishads! It is Sri Ram who is calling on the donors and devotees to ensure that the legacy of such a birthplace is given intact to future generations.
Sri Sitarama Devasthanam is a temple located in Gambhiraopet, Rajanna Sirisilla district. In this holy temple with a history of about 700 years, all the devotees collected donations and started the reconstruction programme in 2018. However, the important development programmes that have to take place for this temple have been stopped in the middle due to a lack of funds. That's why.. The temple administrators want the donors and devotees to come forward with the same responsibility to preserve the monuments and history of this Sitarama temple built during the Kakatiya period.
This temple, which is known as a boon to the devotees, has been constructed like nowhere else in both Telugu states.
The special features of this temple are the construction of the 16-pillared Kalyana Mandapam, 16-pillared sanctum sanctorum and 16-pillared main mandapam. Also, 'Nanda Deepam' has been lit since 700 years, which is the greatest attraction of India!

వేదాలకు, ఉపనిషత్తులకు పుట్టినిల్లు హిందూ దేవాలయాలు..! అలాంటి పుట్టినిల్లు ఆనవాళ్లను భవిష్యత్తు తరాలకు చెక్కు చెదరకుండా అందించాలని సాక్షాత్తూ... ఆ శ్రీరాముడే దాతలకు, భక్తులకు పిలుపునిస్తున్నాడు.
రాజన్న సిరిసిల్ల జిల్లా గంభీరావుపేటలో వెలిసిన దేవాలయం, శ్రీ సీతారామ దేవస్థానం. సుమారు 700ల సంవత్సరాల చరిత్ర కలిగిన ఈ పవిత్ర దేవాలయంలో.. భక్తులందరూ నిరాళాల సేకరణ చేసుకొని 2018లో పునర్ణిర్మాణ కార్యక్రమానికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు. అయినప్పటికీ... ఈ దేవాలయానికి చేయవలసిన ముఖ్యమైన అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలు నిధుల కొరతతో మధ్యలోనే నిలిచిపోయాయి.
అందుకే.. కాకతీయుల కాలంలో నిర్మించబడిన ఈ సీతారామ దేవస్థాన ఆనవాళ్లను, వాటి చరిత్రను కాపాడే బాధ్యత ప్రతి ఒక్కరిపై ఉందని, అదే బాధ్యతతో దేవాలయ అభివృద్ధికి విరాళాలు ఇచ్చే దాతలు, భక్తులు ముందుకు రావాలని కోరుతున్నారు ఆలయ నిర్వాహకులు.
కోరిన భక్తులకు కొంగు బంగారంగా ప్రసిద్ది గాంచిన ఈ ఆయలం.. ఉభయ తెలుగు రాష్ట్రాల్లో ఎక్కడా లేని విధంగా నిర్మాణం చేయబడింది.
16 స్తంభాలతో కూడిన కళ్యాణ మండపం,
16 స్తంభాలతో గర్భగుడి,
16 స్తంభాలతో ప్రధాన మండపం నిర్మించడం ఈ ఆలయ ప్రత్యేకతలు.
అలాగే... 700 సంవత్సరాల నుండి నేటికీ 'నంద దీపం' వెలుగుతుండటం భారతదేశాన్నే ఆకర్శించిన గొప్ప అంశం.
ఆలయ పునర్నిర్మాణంలో ప్రధానంగా:
- గాలి గోపురం నిర్మాణం
- అద్దాల మండపం,
- శ్రీమానుజ కూటమి,
- వాహనాల నిలుపు ప్రదర్శన మండపం,
- ప్రవచన మండపం
- ఆలయం చుట్టు తిరగడానికి రేకుల షెడ్డు నిర్మాణం.. లాంటివి నిధుల కొరత వలన అభివృద్ధి పనులు నిలిచిపోయాయి.
దేవుడు పిలవడం అనేది నేరుగా జరగదు. ఇలాంటి పనులకు ముందడుగు వేసే అవకాశాన్ని దేవుడు కొందరికే ఇస్తాడు.
అందుకే... దైవోహం ద్వారా దేవాలయానికి విరాళాలు ఇచ్చి చరిత్ర కలిగిన పురాతన దేవాలయాలను కాపాడగలరు.
